Get a job at HMV. It worked for me
Im actually applying for an IT Support Technician apprenticeship right now.
£200 a week, 35 hours, £5.71 an hour.
Nice, what will you be doing eg. fixing servers or Microsoft Excel?
My Job = 15-30 hours (Lower when I've got to go back to sixth-form), £6.07 an hour.
Candidate will monitor the IT Help Desk and allocate support calls to other members of the team, as appropriate.
Provide telephone and remote support to users at other company sites (currently 2 in the UK and 2 in Europe)
To install, configure and test new and upgraded desktop hardware and software, transferring the user's data-files and configuration settings, where appropriate.
Perform repairs to faulty hardware where possible, or organise the return to supplier for repair.
Perform the daily repair backup routine
To maintain and update the systems serial numbers, specification and location of machines, etc.
