After a long wait, I have finally got myself Xbox live...
I would have had it sooner, but my old modem was a real piece of shit, it was so damn small and there were no ethernet sockets for it...
Plugging it into my computer didn't help either, but alas, I have finally got a wireless modem, which has 4 ethernet plugs, only 1 of which is being used, which is my xbox 360 (screw paying like £50 for a wireless adapter...)
First impressions of xbox live?
I think it's fucking awesome! It's like playing a whole new game!
I also have a copy of Gears of War, which has a circular ring scratch along it, from my xbox, I have never been able to play Gears since...
But... I decided to see if its online play would work, I had dbouts on it, but I put it in, selected versus, and it damn well worked.
But it's so fucking hard, but practice makes perfect...
I don't have a HD right now, I just have a memory card, so I can't download anything big, like new maps...
I'm getting one for Christmas, but I think the memory card will do for now...
I'm thinking of buying a headset (wired) for about £15.
The problem with that is, I was planning on buying Assassins Creed soon, and if I buy this headset, I won't have enough money.
I'm sure I could easily persuade my parents into buying me one, so I suppose I don't have to worry.
